this is just a small issue, but it bugs me sometimes :o

i know there's that option for whether or not you want the screen to automatically dim before it goes to sleep, but it seems like no matter how long i set it to go to sleep (right now it's at 4 minutes) it still dims after about 30-60s. is there a way to change how long it waits before it dims? i do a lot of reading on my computer and it's annoying to have to keep hitting the mousepad to make the screen bright again.

i realize i could just tell it NOT to dim before it goes to sleep, but i'd rather it was set to dim about 30s BEFORE it goes to sleep. is this possible? :hs:

I've noticed this lately on my MBP. Haven't really bothered to investigate yet.

    Type the following into terminal:

You will have to do this everytime you restart though. Or you could write a quick applescript that runs it everytime you start your computer.

i'd like it if it dimmed about 20-30 seconds before it went to sleep, sort of as a "warning" i do a lot of reading/working with the computer and i don't touch it that much when i'm looking at it, but i don't want to have to touch it every 20 seconds
