I'm using iStatPro and I'm just wondering what you all are seeing in terms of battery health.

I've had my MPB since October and I'm seeing 94% battery health with 18 cycles. What's normal??

Had mine since ~May (Maybe March? one of the 'M' months haha) 2006.

Just downloaded iStat Pro, very nice. Anyway, my current battery (I have 2, scored a great deal off eBay) is showing 97% health on 30 cycles. No idea what is normal.

I always put mine to sleep...I'm not sure if AppleCare covers batteries. I guess I won't worry just yet.

Some of you have amazing batteries. 92accord and dbman96, could you post your charging habits?

Just checked my 2 batteries, new stats:
    Bat 1: 31 cycles @ 92%
    Bat 2: 30 cycles @ 97%

Personally, I leave it plugged in until I trip on the cord and it gets disconnected, then I forget about it until it's about 10 minutes from shutting off and I plug it back in.

can someone explain what a cycle is? whenever I unplug it from the cord for the day and go somewhere with it it seems to be a cycle. that is probably why I only have 6 haha I rarely take it anywhere.

i was wondering the same thing...my 5 y/o pb g4 has been unplugged and drained countless times but iStat is reporting only 67 cycles w/ 92% battery. as i stated previously, both these numbers seem off since it lasts about 1/2 hour unplugged.
