    Hey guys.

just moved into a new house and went with the Linksys WRT160N router. my Dell desktop running XP works fine obviously.

my g/f has a fairly new MAcbook pro and connects to the internet using the airwave feature.

her MBP finds our connection no problem, shows it secure, and asks for the router password but won't connect to the router.

i've done some research and it appears the latest linksys firmware causes this problem. has anyone else faced this? or does anyone know how to downgrade the firmware on my machine to enable her to connect?

    thanks in advance

Does DD-WRT even work on the 160N?

Interesting. I thought it was just for the 54G style routers.

I have the WRT160N and I'm very happy with it running the latest firmware. I've seen some stuff on google about downgrading it.
