After long periods of shortening battery life, this computer is now plug only. All that appears on the battery meter is an X.

and when you get your new battery, take it off when you have it plugged in at your house. I have one month with my macbook, and its at 98% life. so i took it off until school starts

This thing has been on for about six months. I've worked workaholic style on it. Lots of cycles.

Thanks for the Apple tip. Now... what is the bloody number I call to get a replacement? They hide the contact info.

Actually, I called. I didn't have any longer than 45 minutes to talk to the guy, so I just said I would go to the Apple store for a replacement.

I dunno about Applecare. I bought my computer in like June. I have some time still before I gotta buy it.

He indicated they would replace it for free.
