MacBook or Powerbook?

    Is it worth it to splurge and spend the extra dough on a powerbook?

    u mean macbook pro. Yes, if you plan on using it for Professional basis + Hardcore gaming. if you need it for basic to intermediate stuff then the macbook 2ghz i good enough

    The only software I entensily use is Photoshop and Illustrator im about to buy myself a black macbook and can't wait!

    you would be better off buying a base model macbook, and puttin some of thast 500$ youre wasting toward 2gb of ram

    you could get 2gb ram for under $200. but spending extra cash on a 7200rpm HD would laso be a nice upgrade

    newegg has some g.Skill for $80 per 1gig module. If you don't like GSkill, I think that some Corsair could be had for the same price over @ zip zoom fly. If you don't like htat, get it from OWC for 225, and be guaranteed that it works in your mac.

    i bought 2gb corsair for 89 ea stick :p
