Well, I was trying to partition my drive so I could dual boot, but every time it started to partition it would say the disk is damaged and I need to repair it in Disk Utility.
Well, I went to disk utility and am not able to click disk repair so I clicked verify disk and this is what came up...

    Verifying volume “Macintosh HD”

    Checking HFS Plus volume.
    Checking Extents Overflow file.
    Checking Catalog file.
    Checking multi-linked files.
    Checking Catalog hierarchy.
    %)
    Checking Extended Attributes file.
    Checking volume bitmap.
Volume Bit Map needs minor repair
    Checking volume information.
    Invalid volume free block count
    Invalid volume free block count

(It should be 4158943 instead of 4156536)",2)

The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.

Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

    1 HFS volume checked
    Volume needs repair

Not sure what this means.. do I need to take a trip to the Apple store? :hsd:

boot from disk holding c at startup, then it looks like an install screen and at the top should be utilities, and look for disk utilities

Grrrr.. this worked, but now it says some files can't be moved so I need to backup my hard drive, format as OSX, transfer the data back, then try to partition again. Fuckin Mac :squint:
