This MacBook and MacBook Pro firmware update addresses an issue where the first key press may be ignored if the computer has been sitting idle. It also addresses some other issues.

The update package will install an updater application into the Applications/Utilities folder and will launch it automatically. Please follow the instructions in the updater application to complete the update process.

Update only applies to the following MacBooks and MacBook Pros:

    MacBook (Late 2006)
    MacBook (Mid 2007)
    MacBook (Late 2007)
MacBook Pro (17-inch Core 2 Duo)
MacBook Pro (15-inch Core 2 Duo)
    MacBook Pro (Mid 2007, 2.4/2.2GHz)
    MacBook Pro (Late 2007, 2.4/2.2GHz)

And as stated it came out last week so you may have already installed it. Check in your Utilities folder to see if it's already there.

You can try to install it but if your machine isn't one of the machines listed it will tell you that your machine isn't included in the upate.

The geniuses told me this was only for Leopard and not tiger. :dunno:

with 10gb of ram, you'd think the latest updates were automatically sent to your iPhone so that you knew immediately what was happening.

Guess you're not high end enough, son.
