I plugged it into my parents TV to show them and apparently the TV shorted out the soundboard. I plugged it in w/the cables it comes with and saw an arc from the a/v inputs, after that no sound anywhere.

When I brought it home and plugged it into my component cables I figured out it was the Wii itself. Called Nintendo on a Sunday and they had a return label for me in 2 weeks. 4 days later it was fixed and sent back to me.

They would've just sent me a new one, but I had shit that couldn't be copied to an SD card on here and I would've lost it. For the record tho, they did end up replacing some major components since I got it back and it all my VC downloads were gone as was the Internet channel. The MAC address was also different (my wireless blocks unregistered addys) but all my saves were there. For the record, if you do lose VC games Nintendo keeps track and I was able to redownload them myself w/out a problem or phone call.

I got my wii working on my mbp with darwinremote. Took a while for me to get the hang of using the remote as a mouse so I could switch back from using the remote as a mouse....if that makes sense.

Well, in all fairness this wasn't a Nintendo problem. It was a "my parents need to get a better TV" problem.

I just thought of this, but Apple should make a Wiitunes Channel that lets your Wii read your iTunes library if you have it open & shared.

But that would steal from their AppleTV crapbox. :(

I called Target at 11:00am one day, asked about it, they said 'no sorry'.

So I asked how I can keep on top of their inventory, they said to just keep calling back everyday. :ugh:

I went to the store at 4:30pm the same day, and they had 7 of them.

I have Zelda too, I'm bored of it right now though, so I'm taking a break from it.

I don't think I received anything from you yet. What is your wii code thing?
