Hey, I'm looking for a USB-receiver wireless remote control for my Mac Pro to control iTunes, Quicktime plus VLC, MPlayer, and hopefully other such applications.

Any suggestions on what would be the best product(s) for this?

    Thank you!

Sure but they're cheap enough. Can get the remote and receiver for under $40. Lots of programs that allow you to use the remote to control just about any function on the computer and within apps.

If you have a bluetooth module in your computer the PS3 remote is pretty decent.

Keyspan and a couple other companies offer remote and receiver combos too.

Yeah remote app is pretty slick. They need something like Mira for the iPhone. Let you control just about ever function of any program.
