Has anyone used one? Are they just cool looking or are they functional? Would I be better off with a dell?

Mac Mini's are great machine's, definitely better than a Dell of similar price. What are you going to be using it for?

I just ordered one for my sister. Now I have the entire family using Macs... Muwahahaha!

Great little machine, try make sure you get the newest one with the base 512mb of ram, or upgrade it to 1gig. Ive been using one for a month while I rebuilt my PC and I have no real complaints, other than i wish I had bought the 599-699 model for the harddrive space and dvd burner and wireless card :big grin:

With wireless and bluetooth, you really only need power and video cables running to the Mini... Speakers too I guess. It's a very clean setup.
