Mac Mini Worth It?

    Right now I have about 300$ and am considering a mac mini. Does anyone have one and absolutely love it?

    i was not sure until i got the 1gb of memory. this thing rocks my socks with the upgraded memory. i got my from otherworldcomputing

    I should have said that too...worthless with 256 unless you have absolutely no power-use aspirations whatsoever...decent with 512. Really needs 1GB to get going.

    I bet it also moves a bit faster if the OS is loaded on an external 7200rpm HD :dunno: I was really hoping to see some intel minis today tho :(

    kind of depends on if you have a display and everything already. my friend had a gorgeous samsung display and that is ultimately what convinced him that for the money it was the best deal. i mean what sort of janky shuttle PC are you going to be able to build for 500 bones.
