Anyone have a Mac Mini??? Just was wondering.
I hear several people have them, yes.
i want one?
I just showed my mom one, she didn't believe it was a computer. "where's the screen?" LMAO...hopefully will get on for graduation since i'm too poor to build another custom PC. go big or don't go at all...would need at least $1500 for a minimum gaming rig.
my parents do
what are your questions?
yeah, i'll be getting one soon, suppossedly they will be unveiling the mactel minis on the 28th
There is a mac section right above this forum, by the way
Mac Shack; suprisingly pretty good with the Apple knowledge.
My uncle has one as his back-up PC... stores away pretty nicely. fits in a filing cabinet better than a tower.
my freind has one and sold it because of slow performance...he bought the 400 dollar model...
I have 2 of them... they're pretty damn cool.
I don't have one and feel it wouldn't be powerful enough for my needs. However, I could definitely see recommending it to other family/friends, people who are not uber-power-users and can appreciate something so small and slick. I'd wait for mactel versions though.
I just want one for basic needs like internet, e-mail, chatting, maybe DVD and [email protected]. Wouldn't dream of gaming on it or using it as a media center.
If you want a PC still, AOpen is releasing the Pandora today. Up to a 1.73GHz Pentium M, although has crappy Intel intergrated graphic
Minis make kick ass consoles for XServe clusters. Its like, so cheap. Just set it on top of a rack machine.
They've already gotten Apple pissed, i smell many law-suits. Will definetly consider though...
