How do i shut down my mac with keystrokes?? In windows it's just alt-f4 and enter, is there something similar in osx??

Also is there a way to "page down" like in a pc, beacause if i hit apple-Down it's goes to the end of the document and i don't want that

And finally, is there a way to preview all the images in a folder like in windows, so that if i open 1 image in the folder i can just hit the right arrow key arrow key to view the next image in the folder?

Thanks guys, these few things are a little annoying in my switch over

    page down is option-down/up
no idea on the shutdown, but if it freezes and you need to manual shut down it's control-apple-power
only thing I can think of is highlighting everything and opening it all in preview with the drawer open.

well for the pictures google a program called xee. make sure u associate it with all picture files, and it basically replaces preview. then if u click 1 picture in a folder u can go through all the pics in that folder.

ctrl+eject on desktop macs usually works. hit enter when the dialog shows up. laptops are a no-brainer, push the power button.

ctrl + eject = shutdown dialog box
ctrl + option + apple + eject = shuts down system immediately

if your'e on a desktop/imac, there is a pagedown button on the keyboard
if your'e on a laptop, press fn + down

preview all images = download a program called Xee, look on versiontracker.com, then associate all your pictues files to open with Xee instead of Preview.
