So I am about to sell my MBP. I love it and its great but not a year old yet. Gonna get rid of it for 1700. After reading the deal about the adc developer connection discount, after i use that i can get a new MBP in probably January for ~$300-$400 more, not a bad upgrade.

Its probably going to get sold on tuesday. Not bad its gonna be very wierd switching to a windows laptop for a little while. But I think its going to be worth it. With all the rumors of whats going to happen i think its the best time to get the most $$ for my MBP.

    My question is...

I need to copy everything on my current harddrive and have it seamlessly transfer when i get my new MBP.

Ive heard programs as super duper do it? :dunno:

Two things i need to make sure are okay.

    1) All my playcounts and playlists copy over exactly from my itunes.(do some dj'in and this is very important) how do i make this happen?

    2) Also do i face any problem if im transferring when leopard comes in? I figure when i get the new one Leopard will be standard.

help mac crue!! :hs: im lost and i dont have a lot of time!

    look into Carbon Copy Cloner...
dunno if it'll keep your play count or anything...

couldn't answer the leopard question, cause really it's not out yet, but usually apple upgrades are pretty seamless and easy transition.
