Anyone here work at a Apple Store as a "Mac Genius". I just finished a phone interview. It looks like they are hiring me. All I need is to fax in my work history for verification, not act like a dumb ass at the final live interview and off to Cupertino for the two week training.

I didn't work in an Apple store (currently interning), but from what I've seen, when they verify the work history, you pretty much have it. :bigthumb: pre-congrats

I heard from someone that they make about $60k a year. I didn't realize they sent you to Cupertino as well. That's awesome.

Starts around 40k a year plus bonuses and overtime. Lots of cool perks, 7 weeks of training, discount on products, apple certifications etc... Once everything is finalized I’ll give you guys the run down of the whole process.

Congrats. I'm in Apple's server tech support in Austin, TX and love the company. Benefits on day one (that don't cost anything), tons of vacation and holiday pay (last year I had 2 weeks vacation + week off at christmas + week off at thanksgiving), tons of overtime, 25% discounts on apple hardware, and tons of third party discounts. Oh, and "free" software! It's an awesome place to work, very laid back, etc. Best of luck. Today is my last day b/c i'm moving to Houston to be with my wife, but i'm sure you'll love working there.

Not true. management does. I used to be a mac genius in Miami. I made 20$/hr.

Great company to work for tho.

:nono: not true, I applied and didn't get it. I fumbled the interview a bit unfortunately, but hopefully my experience would make up for it. It didn't. :greddy: I know more about the computers than the salespeople in the store I applied for.
