I need to fly home in the next couple of weeks and flights are crazy expensive and someone mentioned MAC flights? How could I find out some information about this and if its possible? My schedule is kinda limited. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are on a tight schedule, you definitely do NOT want to go the Space Available option.

you can be bumped for almost any reason

space first....a higher rank, especially an officer needs your seat, someone on orders shows up and takes your spot....etc etc

Space A is cheap, and it'll often get you where you need to go, but it's far from a garaunteed spot, and they aren't always available when you need them to be ie they might only fly to where you want to go once a week.

Man, there sure isn't a lot of flights, and the schedule only goes 3 days out in advance? Lame.
