I have my Ibook and PC hooked up through a hub. They see each other but I cant share or view files on opposite computers b/c of a password error I keep getting.

When I try to log onto the Ibook fromt he windows machine I type in my Mac pass. and get errors saying its the wrong password. (I've checked)

On the Windows PC I've done the same thing.

Ok, now the issue. WTF is going on!!! There must be something I'm missing. (I've heard that DL'ing Dave would help but I can't find it.

No, Dave won't help. Samba should work fine. If you can't figure it out, just turn on ssh and get into your mac that way. You can use scp or sftp to get the files to/from your PC.

Putty or WinSCP are two programs that should work on your PC to do that.
