2 boxes of WWB, 1 box of WWB HP, and the Rangers that I had left over...
It fired all of them flawlessly with zero hiccups. I still need to shoot more HPs to make sure, but it seems the new barrel did the trick.

I also shot one of my new zombie targets, but didn't get the chance to shoot the other 2 because everyone at the range started complaining about it being "crazy" and "distracting". Whatever. I'm so sick of this world we live in today.
Bunch of fucking pussies that are only concerned about everyone else's business and not their own.
If you can't keep your eyes on your own target, that's your problem, not mine.
But I complied, mainly because I didn't have much time, and didn't want or need their distraction of complaining about my distraction. :ugh2:

Oh no! Not a target that isn't round with a bullseye in the middle, that would mess up my shooting from 30ft away in another stall!

    lol, yea.

I go to an outdoor range most of the time, and it's interesting to see what people shoot. A few weeks back a guy was shooting one of those "for sale" signs people put in front of their homes. He ended up taking the house off the market after a while without getting any bids.

One time some friends went to a garage sale and bought somebody's terrible homemade paintings and we took them to the range and shot them

No kidding. Its not traditional, so now its "crazy".
Kinda pissed me off, but at the same time, I'm not one to cause trouble on purpose just to teach people lessons or prove a point.
So I just finished my mags I had already loaded, and switched to a more "conventional" target.

My whole point of going was just to make sure the gun fired reliably, since its a new barrel.
I didn't really care if I was accurate, or what targets I was even shooting... I could have been shooting at no targets, for all I cared.

Its just the fact that people are so concerned about other people and what they are doing, rather than concerning themselves with their own shit.
When I go to the range, or anywhere for that matter, I don't give a fuck what anyone else is doing, or shooting at... its none of my business.
Unless someone is forcing their issues on me, or infringing on my rights, I really just don't care. Do what you want.
But also keep your mouth shut about my crap too. Too bad no one lives like that anymore.

    That's pretty weak.

Did the range tell you to stop using the zombie targets?

That shouldn't be a surprise most people have had no issues what so ever w/ theirs.

and fuck them tell them to keep their eyes where they should be.... on their own target.

I could understand if your range has a "no shooting at humanoid figures" kind of rule, since that can make some people uncomfortable. But if there isn't then blast all of the zombies you want.

as far as I'm concerned, it's all protected by first ammendment.

Not directly. But the rangemaster and his wife (they own the range) both came into that side of the range to talk about it.
Apparently several people saw the targets and then complained to them at the front where you pay.
When I left, I talked to Roger (the owner), and said that its BS and I should be able to shoot whatever targets I want, as long as they aren't illegal in some way.
He agreed, but also wants to keep the peace. :ugh2: I did nothing wrong.

So zombie Steve is the only bullet-riddled zombie at this time, and the rest will have to wait until it warms up and I can shoot them outside... apparently where they "belong".

Do you have a public range you can go to? They would be more compelled to let you exercise your 1st ammendment rights. Technically a private range can "reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason". Public ranges, can not.

They have targets for sale hanging on their wall, silhouettes, men with guns, even a man with a gun holding a woman hostage and Osama bin Laden.

I don't think the rule is right, but if the range has a rule like that, then the zombie is a humanoid shape, and the rule should be complied with.

Like i'm not allowed to shoot humanoid targets at my indoor range since it's located on my school's campus, and them seeing students shooting human figures could somehow make some other students uncomfortable. It's a stupid rule, so to get around it, I just use IDPA targets, and they haven't said anything about it yet.

I wonder what they would say if I brought a zombie target. ... Too bad I don't have one.

There is one range in my area... and its an indoor pistol/rifle range.
There is one other outdoor range that opens up when its warm, like April or May, or something like that, but this is the only choice I have for now.
The range doesn't have a "No Zombie Target" rule, so therefore they didn't enforce it. It was just the other people complaining about it. That's all.
