Ok, i'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a custom LRB m14 and am slightly perplexed. I'm well aware of the .308 win v. 7.62x51 Nato issue w/ the pressure discrepancies. I was looking at picking up the DMR contour Criterion chrome lined barrel with Nato chambering. Does anyone happen to know if shooting the higher pressure commercial ammo out of this barrel will cause long term issues. I dont really want to cause damage to a likely $3,000 investment. If it will, i'm going to end up w/ the short chambered Kreiger stainless heavy barrel in .308.
