I tried these yesterday for the first time and couldnt get the form right. I didn't feel anything in my chest, only lots of discomfort in my shoulders. I had shoulderblades pinched in and elbows facing out and immobile throughout the movement. Any tips on how to get this right, or does it take time? I just didnt feel like it was very effective.

When I do them I keep my fists parallel with my pecks. Maybe try with a lighter weight for warm up just to get the hang of it, I generally start that way just to get me in the right state of mind/form

Going slow and holding at the peak helps as well.

i generally try to do most things with db's or bb's if i can, but i've used it before. I just like the idea of improving motor control and using stabilizer muscles that you get with db's, it seems more efficient.
