Nope not a Hinson sub. I have done this entire project without giving him a single dollar. Hinson FTL!

What doesn't make sense about them putting a V8 in from the factory? :ugh2:

It definitely is the way it should have come stock. A great handling, lightweight chassis with some torque and reliability that gets 25mpg. Can't beat it.

:ugh2: Not so much bud. More like massive oversteer. LS1 weighs about the same as the rotary, but the weight distribution ends up being closer to 50/50 with the V8. :hsugh:

    No and

Yes, perfect sense. 30mpg, doesn't catch fire and burn your car down, puke apex seals under boost, or sound like crap. Weight distribution is within 3% of stock corner weights, what is not to love?

LSx FD is genius, probably the only swap that BOOSTS the value of the car (My friend just sold his LS1 FC for $14.5k!).

Rotaries=dumb. There is a reason why Mercedes said "whoa fuck that" back in the '70's/'80's.

I think that is the major thing that pisses off the rotards. They have a bitch of a time selling a rotary powered FD for $12k-14k, yet a basic stock LS1 swap will easily fetch $22k, higher end swaps fetch anywhere around $28-$35k.

I stopped keeping a tab at $15k. I have a pile of receipts that I have to go through one day, but it scares me. :hs:

If I had to guess, it'd be right around $20-23k. Not bad for what the car is, but still more then I wanted to spend. :o

BTW, radiator just got here. Should be drivable by this afternoon.
