I am looking at some 22" in rims for my tahoe, but if and when i do get them I woudl want to lower back of the truck just to level it. It is a 4x4 I have heard it is harder or more expensive to lower 4x4's anyone have any info on this?

is the back spring under, or spring over on the tahoes?

and yes.. it is more expensive and difficult to lower the front of a 4x4. But I don't see why it would be any more difficult to do the rear..

Exactly. You may be able to get some lowering shackes to drop it. I have 2" drop shackles on my Lightning to level it out. It is only about a half to one hour job.

4x4s with torsion bars are actuly easier to and cheaper to lower

if you just want to drop it in the back get some lowring blocks

Lowering blocks won't work on a spring over axle setup.
A set of shackles is the ticket IF you have leaf springs.
If you have coils, you'll need to replace the springs (or cut coils if you want it cheaper...it will ride like shit though and cause premature suspension wear)

Bigger wheels and tires will make it harder to do what your truck was designed to do.

 it's a tahoe.. the only thing it was designed to do is haul people around.
