i'm a big guy, 5'9, 200 lbs. i work out mostly at home with my weight bench but not total gym rat. i'll use the bar for squats. one of my problems is i don't have anything to work out my back. as soon as i start moving shit around the house, my lower back will start hurting, even when i'm lifting with my legs.

i was wondering what kind of home exercises can i do to help alleviate the problem.

    Check the stickies...

... but good lower back exercises would be deadlifts and good mornings

i did check out the stickies and from the titles the only one that seems helpful was "NOOBs....please read before posting." which i did. didn't see anything specifically for the lower back.

i did click on the link providing the gifs for some exercises...found some for lower back and will try to incorporate that into my rountine, including the deadlifts.

    thanks.

Is it that your back gets tired or is it painful? If it's pain then I would see a chiro first
