What's a fail safe exercise to target lower abs? I know leg raises but I never really feel it. I'm probably doing it wrong but I've tried lots of different ways so what's something that I can't fuck up?

lowers are a real bitch....it took me forever to actually get my form down on leg raises.....when you do them try to focus on the bottom of your feet raising, hard to explain, focus on your shoes basically, squeeze your abs and hold when you get up to the top, i go to 90 degrees, no higher no lower.. other than that, you know how it is, its all in the diet with the abs.

Make sure your pelvis is retracted (?) throughout the movement and your lower back is touching the bench/floor.

when you do leg raises, do you put hands under your ass? cause i felt a much harder burn when i stopped doing that and its just back/ass to the deck.

i do them on a dip station......it takes a while to get used to, take it really slow until you feel the burn on your bottom abs, i didnt for a long time, make sure your back is flat also like someone said. youll get it. i do those and decline crunches with a 25 or 35 on my stomach 2x/week.

2 ways i recommend. 1 use weight: put like a 40lb dumbell between your feet and raise your knees so the weight goes up and down instead of swing. 2. sprints - right now im going with 2.

I never use them with clients, and I tell them they don't ever need them. I'm not that kind of trainer.
