Love Handles

    What's the most effective way to get rid of them in your opinion? I do as many Crunch type exercises as I can, cardio, etc. and I just can't seem to get rid of them.
    I used to be heavier, but now I'm down to about 150lbs and these things are the only issue I have at this point.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    lower body fat more is the only way. they are the first fat to come and last to go for me too

    Thanks. Just really frustrating that no matter what I do, it just seems that I can't get rid of the leftover "layer" that's there.

    Workout suggestions?

    That is my problem area as well. Well that and the gut.

    I've been working out for about 6 months now and can't get rid of my gut.

    I do have to admit that I hardly do any ab workouts.

    I run for 30 minutes every day and then hit the weights for another 30-45.

    Should I spend a full workout session on my abs, like I do every where else?

    What does it matter how many fuckin ab sessions you do if you're still gonna have fat on top?

    That is what I thought. That is why I started doing cardio.

    I just don't know if I'm wasting my time and should be doing something else.

    Wasting your time doing abs? Of course you're not. But it's a mix of both.

    Don't think that's the way you're going to loss the fat from the different areas. Stick with the cardio and maintain a diet and results should come.

    Abs are made in the kitchen. What is your diet like? I am sure people here will be able to point out things you can change.

    Bro I rarely hit my abs but I got them fuck muscles and all. I'm not even at a low bf%

    Monday - Friday:
    Breakfast: Eggs/Oatmeal
    Snack:Apple/Banana
    Lunch: White Rice and Chicken w/ Teriyaki sauce
    Dinner: Chicken/Beef/Salad/Pasta/Soup

    Sat-Sun:
    Breakfast: Oatmeal/Cereal/Eggs
    Lunch: Pasta
    Dinner: Eat out (usually Mexican)

    Drinks:
    Water/Apple Juice

    Some times I cheat and have chocolate/ice cream/pop cicles (about once per week)

    You need more portein, and stick to whole grains for your carbs. Oh and no mexican food.

    I've been taking a protein shake every day for the last few weeks (25g + 1% milk). Should I take 2 per day?

    What types of grains? Is white rice a no no?

    and GOD DAMNIT to your Mexican food statement. I love Mexican food. :wtc:

    If you use the cables, stand in the middle, one arm extended out to your side straight and pull across your body using the trailing hand until your arm is pointed in the same way in the opposite direstion.

    For me, this really seems to do a great job tightening up the love handles/core area.

    Like mosty have said, diet is the main thing with abs.

    I love mexican food too, prolly more than most, but I have stopped for the time being to see the gain I want. Gotta pay to play.

    you're fat. In order to get rid of gut/handles you must get unfat which means burning more calories then you stick in your face.

    I have 3-4 in a day.

    morning(whey), post workout(whey), before bed (casein).

    Mexican food is not necessarily bad for you, it is just bad for you because you did not make it yourself. Sometimes making it yourself is the healthiest way.

    and Whole Wheat is your best friend

    What's your body weight? I'm about 159, and I try to take in between 150-180g a day.

    Anything whole grain, like oatmeal whole grain breads. If the first ingredient doesn't say whole grain. It's not whole grain.

    Rice is great, just make sure it's whole grain.
