In the end, why did they leave in a ship? I dont get it.
They did a lot of walking during the movie, would you want to walk anymore?
Im sure they didnt leave on a ship because they were tired of walking. Can someone with more knowledge, perhaps someone who've read the book can tell me why they left on a boat.
They were going to the undying lands.
Ok, thanks. But why did Frodo leave with them?
Something about him being an Elf-Friend if I recall, so they accepted him onto the ship to accompany them.
I may be wrong, or my memory is muddled, sorry.
The books are much more detailed on this sort of thing. Although they were a great trilogy on the big screen!
Frodo left with them because he was a ringbearer. He used a Ring and he was too.. emr, tired for the world (Middle Earth) and he can only be happy once he comes to the Undying Lands.
Sam also comes there after a while (mentioned in the book) since he also wore the ring.
Read the book, it will explain.
there's a thread for this in adventures beyond reality forum
