I bought it. Well, my friend bought it and begged me to play with him. I'm pretty sure this game looks awful...
    Patching now...

no complaints so far. the ui is very similar to wow. its much more story driven as opposed to random quests just for xp. doesnt seem like a power gamer's game, like wow. its fun though, i like it.
my particular class has combos and chains that build off of when i parry/block/etc, which i like. keeps combat interesting.

Could you see yourself playing more than a month? I gave Vanguard a shot after WoW and cried myself to sleep at night while playing that game.

I dunno, hard to say since I have no idea what the second half of the game will be like.
Plus playing a game for the first time when EVERYONE is new, is a really cool experience imo. Its when a MMO is most fun, to me at least. No one knows where anything is, or how to do certain things - Its how the game should be. Grinding alts in WOW was so awful to me b/c I knew where everything was. There was no adventure, no fun, just power gaming/grinding. I'm sure this game will be no different once I know everything about it, but for now its a blast.

But like I said, its very story driven. So I think I'll play it for a while. What the game has in store once you finish all the quests and max level will obviously make or break the game long term. It does have a raid UI though so... :noes:

Its also similar to EQ, EQ2, VG, Lineage, SB, AC2, and DAOC's UI's as well. which are all similar with every MMRPG out there.

I wouldn't mind a buddy key. I have a long lonely weekend in front of me and might consider buying it but Vanguard left me feeling...abused.

Okay not selling anymore, the game is fucking fun. Champions are a blast, so are minstrels.

I have my buddy key but I'm not sure who to give it to:(
