Lost 10 pounds... thanks, ex-gf

    Thanks to my whorish ex-girlfriend, I've lost 10 pounds the past 2 weeks. I lost my appetite and didn't sleep much.

    Unfortunately, I'm already skinny. I'm 6'1", was 165lbs, now 155lbs. About a year ago I was 170 or so lbs because I had brollied myself at the apartment gym, but lost 8 or so lbs from just not having access to a good gym anymore when I moved (couldn't afford it, etc, blah blah blah, ib. fuck you pussy)

    So now, at least I'm really fucking cut and I'm at a great point to start bulking back up with MUSCLE. Some of the weight I lost was a little bit of fat around my midsection and face.

    So now's a sick opportunity for me to go for a six-pack and put on a little bit of muscle and look lean-cut.

    From my previous brolly experience, I know it's not feasible for me to get jacked. But 15lbs of muscle on me makes a HUGE difference.

    So what's the best way to gain back some lean muscle and get some good definition? Maybe not 15 lbs-worth, but something noticeable. Hopefully the muscle memory is still there.....

    Low reps, high weight
    Cytogainer
    Cardio a few times a week
    LOTS of food

    ???

    losing sleep and appetite over a chick? ugh..man up dude. Anyway, you sound REALLY skinny. Just eat a lot of whole foods with loads of protein and do a full body workout. Reps anywhere from 8-15 range, heavy. Train hard and till failure or you'll won't gain. Take it slow. Getting big doesn't happen overnight. Fuck cardio.

    Well, I like to ride my bike in the evening, but that's not hard cardio....more of a stress reliever and leg workout than anything.

    i said fuck cardio cause at your height you'll prob have trouble eating enough to gain, so no sense in burning more calories..

    Yea, that's true. I ran into that problem last time I brollied up. More than half the battle for me is just getting enough damn calories....

    It is a little bit, but it's not like running or swimming hard

    And considering I sit on my ass at work all day, anything with my legs is a workout for them.

    Yea...I have a newfound determination for lots of things in my life, in this is one I want to add.


    Plus, I know how sweet it'd be to see my ex in 6 months after hitting it hard that whole time and her thinking "god damn it....fml"

    Last time I was hitting the gym, there was noticeable progress in 6 months, especially in my shoulders and lats. My ex would drool over that shit

    Whatever though, I'm not doing this shit for her anyways. fuck that whore

    Don't listen to these assholes, ride your bike if you want to. It's a good form of active recovery. Personally I would train between 3-5 rep range on heavy lifts and 8-10 on isolation lifts. Eat your ass off, lot's of peanut butter help get calories in.

    sounds like you skinnied out .. the sleep and food thing .. i hear ya on that one .. im about 5'7 and 155-160 and i still feel skinny as shit ..

    go for the whole 6 month GOD DAMN WTF DID I DO?!?!?LOOKATHIMNOW?!!?!?!?isuckatlife type thing .. nothing beats the look on an ex's face when you're shredded and undefeated standin' in front of her ..

    Fuck the haters dude. I've been in your shoes, lost more than 10lbs.... didn't weigh 155lbs though. :mamoru: But it's a great feeling when you can hold your head up high to your ex when you're proud of your physique. When you're in the gym, think about the whore.....

    First and only time I've lost weight with a GF, I lost over 20 lbs. Fuck that shit, never again.

    Just learn to move on quickly, or have something to consume your time; ie, working out, friends, drinking, etc.
