I'm arguing with a friend that it is not possible, and if it were it would not be healthy in any way, shape, or form.

i'm guessing PSMF would be the only way to do this short of cutting off a limb?

Its possible but it would take a lot of preparation. You'd have to know how your body responds to different food combinations. I don't think that average joe could just up and lose 10 lbs. of fat in a month.

You could loose 25 pounds in a month. I have seen it done. Wrestling wise.

I think its definitely possible for someone 220lbs at 5'11. Mind you it won't only be fat he's losing.

I've read about people losing 30+ pounds in two days but they take it to extremes.

Dry sauna's in plastic sweat suits. Driving to weigh in in several sweaters with the car heater blowing on them etc. etc.

i think 10 lbs of fat in a month is feasible for someone who knows what they are doing.

I think it was Acura who cut at a rate of about 2/lbs week, i would imagine most of that was fat. And he probably didnt have a high BF% to start with.

    So yes, its definately possible.

thats Matt Kroczaleski's make weight program. it is very extreme and doesn't work out for people that don't have some sort of 'aid' (anadrol, etc)

he cuts from 240+ to make weigh ins for the 220 class in less than 24 hours

    pre weigh in:

its a good read, but not for someone without incredible amounts of experience
