Not at all. The drop was caused by them ussuing a further 19 million common stock for sale. The reason it dropped so hard was because typically this number of stocks would be slowly sold off into the market. However, all of them were up for sale today and for cheap (1.25).

IFLI will bounce back. The selling off from stock holders who are panicing might continue tomorrow and the next day. As for whether or not it will bounce back up to 10, I would play it strictly by the charts from here on out.

I was never a big fan of the IFL but I've been watching alot more of it lately, since it's on sometimes right as I get home from the gym (re-runs). They have higher ratings in their timeslot on that network than previous shows so I'm sure they will be around for a while.

Me neither. I like the team based concept except the fighters suck.

I think the stock price was just adjusting to where it should be... It was GROSSLY inflated when they first came out due to mma being the "in thing" at the time...

Me neither... I'll watch it occasionally if I notice it is on while flipping though the channels, but I don't watch it near as religously as I do the UFC or PRIDE.... I've seen a couple of good fights, but most have been less than impressive... And those ring girls are about the same quality as the ones I see at the local cage fights at the bar (random strippers and/or bar skanks)...

Agreed. I actually considered buying some stock at the current price.

For whatever reason, it's not as exciting for me to watch that as it is to watch the ufc or old pride.

Yeah it's still MMA, so I'll still watch it over Judge Judy or whatever other shit is on tv.

I'll probably be watching alot less tv soon when I get back to training, but it'll be nice to catch it when I can.

they use bigger gloves iirc which results in less knockouts and the overall atmosphere is similar to C-level on air boxing

The idea is cool, it's just that they're lacking in the fighters. Having the legendary coaches and having these coaches fight in rematches of classic matches, or match-ups that would have been blockbusters back in the day if they'd ever happened - that's a huge reason why it's still there.

Having fight camp rivalries would be even better. Imagine having the IFL concept, but instead of regional teams, having the big camps in a league. Miletich v Jackson's v Team Quest v Chute Box v BTT etc etc. The funny thing is, that sort of thing is possible now that Zuffa pretty much has all the Pride and UFC names.

The funny thing is too, I've never even watched the IFL bar some of the coach fights. It's not shown where I am and it'd be hard to get. I think I'd definitely watch it if I had access. But it's not something I'd go out of my way to attain if you know what I mean.

I guess I'm saying, is the IFL even a good show to watch? To me, I wouldn't be bawling my eyes out if it went away, but the sport does need the IFL and rival orgs like that. As much as I want to see all the dream matches, I don't want Zuffa to have a complete and utter monopoly.

It's MMA. That makes it at least mildly entertaining to me. Anytime I see ANY MMA on TV while I'm flipping through the channels I'll stop and watch it. I just don't watch much TV so I hardly ever get to catch it. The last time I saw it on was last Saturday but there was no fucking way I was going to pick that over the UFC PPV.
