GUN looks like I won't be getting a gun this summer

    So I went by the DFW Gun place here in Dallas and discovered I wont' be owning my own gun this summer like I wished because I am not a resident of Texas -

    However I can rent guns and try them out and take the intro to firearms class they offer and potentially I'll take the deffensive handgun class

    So I'll have a summer to get trained, and pick a gun then once I get back to MS I can buy

    ohh the wait....:squint:

    Go back to MS. Buy a gun. Take it back to TX. The drive would be worth it.

    same federal law in every state.


    if you are living in texas, cant you just change your address to TX?

    See if you can get a TX non-driver ID.

    That's what I did while in college in AL to buy a gun there while my official residence was GA.

    you can do that, but both parties have to be residence
