Wirelessly posted via wap.offtopic.com (Motorola Q: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; Smartphone; 176x220))

Get the Gigabyte mobo for around 90 on newegg. Get some g.skill ram and E6750 intel c2d. Then buy at least an 8600GT and you will be running cod4 pretty well. About 450 total.

I'd suggest going with a E21x0 processor use the extra $100 to get either a HD3850, HD3870 or 8800GT. Any of them will run much faster than the 8600GT and if you overclock the processor up to 2.8ghz or so you won't be processor bound for those games.

Abit IP35-E has been around $70 after rebates.
E21X0 processors as low as $60.
Memory deals around $40 for two gigs,
    HD3850 for $180.
