I am currently trying to jumpstart some weightloss. I have started to cut my cal intake on good days to around 2200, and bad days (drinking) about 3000.
That is down from a whole lot more.

I am looking to either add a meal replacement or take a fat burner maybe both. I never wake up for breakfast and i dont ever pack a lunch. SO i was thinking i would replace those two meals due to the fact they are most likely to be fast food. I dont drink soda, i am back to about 10 glasses a water a day. I will prolly start taking in more water if on a fat burner. I drink everyday, somedays are just a becks light or 2. I am better at drinking than before, i no longer drink long islands (with redbull and no sweet and sour) about a 600 cal drink. I stick to my light beers and a few shots, maybe 2 nights a week.

Your right.. Cardio.. I said i would like a jumpstart to help the process along. I spend at least 30 mins on the treadmill 3 days a week.

Drinking really is the devil beyond maybe A beer at night a few times a week.

In reality, more cardio (every day or 5x a week) would help you lose more weight.

Make sure your diet consists of a good split. Carbs are more likely to end up as fat on you so make sure a good amount (like 60%) of your calories come from protein or healthy fats.

If you REALLY are eating 2200 calories a day (I say this skeptically because lots of people underestimate and don't count very well) and getting 30 min of target heartrate cardio (like 115 bpm or higher) 3x a week, the only things I see to help you are eating some caffine or ephedra for a fat burner, getting more cardio and making sure your 2200 calories are from healthy sources. Oh and quit drinking it fucks with your body bad.

I have cut way back on my drinking. I will have to make time to increase my cardio. Are the meal replacements a waste of money? they seem like an easy way to get the nutrion i need and keep my cals low.

Whole food will always be better but a power bar is better than the super value meal. IMO just cook up like 6 pounds of chicken and pack it all week in tupperware.

When you've answers 1000 variations of the same question it gets pretty old.

Chicken will keep for a week if you refrigerate right after cooking. It may taste funny after like day 4 and some people are pussyhurt and won't eat it after that.

:werd: I think you made a thread about drinking a while back or said you were going to stop. I gave it some thought then and have since cut it down to max of two drinks if I go out on the weekend. I've only had a few beers in the past 6 weeks and feel a hell of a lot better and think I look better too.

I do miss drinking, but not the "side effects."

start buying cans of solid albacore. Make tuna salad, but instead of mayonnaise, there is this 'smart balance' light mayonnaise that is delicious and not bad at all. Also a can of relish.

You can get several cans of tuna for far less than 10 dollars, mix it all together at the beginning of the week and eat it as a meal once a week. Add some whole grain crackers, like Kashi 7 grain (NOT wheat thins with HFCS) as a good carb.

1/2 cup tuna + a slice of 15 grain bread or crackers + some carrots has done wonders for me.

Also, when you buy tuna/albacore, make sure it is dolphin safe.

I have picked up some canned chicken, and looks like tuna will be added to the list. I am leaving my "home gym" and getting a membership to lifetime (boss is going to pay for it). I went to the bar last night, and drank water.. still tipped so i dint feel like a jack ass.. but i really think i can cut down to just a couple beers a week. I am at 5 meals a day.

    Wake up:big grin:rink powder shake.
    mid morning: soup
    mid afternoon: shake
    dinner:chicken and lettuce
    work out
    early evening: snack on veggies

    Now i am looking into a multi-vitamin.

Looks good. You may not be on your way to being an underwear model but you'll be thinner and healthier for sure.

I still drink on special occasions... I'll probably kill 3/4 of a bottle of wine tonight for v-day and saturday is her b-day party so I'll probably be smashed there... but normally it's months. You don't miss it so much after a while
