Just bought a house... I'm getting dishnetwork installed this week, but I am still looking for Internet/Phone. I'm probably gonna need to go with DSL service.

Just wondering how slow (painfully?) will 1.0 Mbps service be?

    Thanks,

it's 128kb/s download, so it's far from the fastest thing out there...

back in 1999 when I moved to California, broadband was a availilble so we ordered the fastest we could get at 1.3Mb/s

10 years on and you're getting something slower....
