the old judo gi that i got when i first started isn't cutting it anymore (and i lost my pants :o ) so which brands are good? Never really looked at anything than what i had. I'm looking at Koral, Fighter, Atama etc. which one is better?

  2. Atama is a great brand. Chechen recommended it to me and the gracies complimented it when I wore it to their gym. :o

I've heard great things about Lucky, but I've never used anything but my grapple gear.

I just bought a gameness gi this weekend. So far so good, shrunk an A3 and now it fits me perfectly. Pants feel soo good, drawstring is light years better than my old one. I'd like to try an Atama mundial to see what all hte fuss is about though.

    I like gameness' goldweave

    if you're canadian
http://fightplanet.ca/ (they have lucky gi, but uhm..... price is nuts)
    or try www.rdfc.tv

I love my koral gi. Not a huge fan of atama after they jacked up the prices $50 on everything they sell last april.

HCK is always recommended because the price is right, and the gi is fuckin solid. Which other company hasn't jacked up their prices in the last 5 years, and stayed consistent with quality?

the collars used to be way too thick on hck.. at one point i think they were illegal in competition. i hope howard liu changed them. i tried one at one point, but found atama to be better.

Eh, I was just trolling that one time. I was tired from training and bored and didn't want to do HW. I didn't mean anything I said lol so it was surprising and ironic to see drag_on take everything I said so seriously even though he's always like "internet, serious business" etc.

I went from Atama to Fuji when I went to order my second gi and saw Atama raised their basic gi prices from 90 to 130 (been a couple years).
