Do not want. I never saw the big deal behind this lens. After you get past the huge zoom range, it's a very medium lens (not a bad lens, not a great lens).

Glad you guys love the lens :mamoru:

Anyway, I have no other option for about 600 bucks. I need a lens that goes from 18-200, I cant have 3 lenes all the way to 200 because I dont have time on the field to be switching lenes.

So if anyone knows of one for sale or anyone here wants to sell it let me know.

what do you take pics of where you need 200mm? Id say find a good used 80-200 2.8 (two ring version, and not the push/pull) for about $700-800. :o

    .

Switching lenses takes 5 seconds, the photos that you're capturing are gonna be much better with the 80-200.

it's not a prime, but is very, very useful when you want to travel with one lens, bring one lens on the mountain, etc. it's not the perfect lens, but IMO it makes a very good job if you use it for it's versatility.
