Went camping and rented a pair of semi auto Honda 350s. It was dope and all and now im looking to buy some ATVs for my own. Turns out i live near a buch of state vehicle rec areas.

The 350 had nice powers, i wouldnt mind something with a bit more. I like something automatic, though im open to suggestions regarding fully manual quads as well. Any recs would be appreicated.

2003 to 2005 Raptor 660r. Great all around bike if your looking to blast around in. Its a tad heavy and tall compared to other bikes in its 'class' but if you don't plan on racing and want all the power you can handle... this is the bike for you.

I've had 3 and loved every one of them. You can pick them up on CL for $1800 to $2500 and replacement/aftermarket parts are everywhere. Cheers!

I just got a 06 KFX 700 two weeks ago. This thing flies and I love having an automatic. I am getting too old to shift. The mods you can do to these things are endless.

That's a good bike I have lots of seat time on it and would buy one if I was looking for a quad.

I would avoid them like the plague. way to top heavy and over all a piece of crap.

That and most people who buy them don't know shit and don't take care of them and put a bunch of stupid mods on them.

the 450 is better in every way.

They are a bit top heavy, but I have to disagree that they're a piece of shit. I happen to take excellent care of my bikes and I think I modify them tastefully. It's a shame that you look down on the performance of a bike because you think people don't "mod them tastefully" or that they "don't know shit".

How's the 450 compare to the 660 when it comes to torque?

I had a 2004 raptor and it was a blast. The reason people that think they are top heavy is because they are afraid to move their ass to the left/right when riding. They sit there in the middle and think the machine will do all of the work.

no the reason people think they are top heavy is because they motor is taller than most sport quads seat heights.
