    I was running the virus software on the family computer (guess how often they do that) and i couldnt believe all the temp files it scanned. is there a reliable and recommended program that can auto delete these files on execution? I seem to recall one that you could assign it folders to clean out and then just run it. any help would be great

    thanks =)

    Just go to the folder and delete all the files.
    They are, after all, just temp files.
    If they are temps files for a set program(s), then look in the AV's settings and see if you can set the folder(s) to be excluded from the search. But from the sound of it it might be best to just let everything get scanned and then worry about dealing with the temp files later.
    Might take forever, but it's better to scan them now than to find out later a virus was floating around in there just waiting for a new chance to escape.
