I'm with Liquidweb at the moment and they have been top notch in service.

Was wondering what the best plan would be between these two: (chime in with your own recommendations if you have any to provide)

    The DV Rage
    Specs:

    512 MB Dedicated RAM
    40 GB Disk Storage
    1.5 TB Network Transfer /mo

    (or)

    https://www.liquidweb.com/cart/content/vps/

    The VPS Premium (linux)
    40GB Disk Storage
    350GB Bandwidth Transfer
    768MB RAM

    Thanks

The site will host videos and pictures. Emphasis on videos.

    Fuck yeah.

But, they are limited in the space department, and probably bandwidth nowadays.

Nah, I signed up when their plans were 2x as big as they are now. They kept me at what it was, as a "grandfathered" plan. Then they have me 200gb more transfer free :mamoru:

And I don't use their VPS.

liquidweb is nice...pricey overage though, especially if youre gonna host vids that get a lot of hits.

Nobody pimping the Planet? Their dedicated plans are competitive with some of those shared plans above. I hear good things about them, although they had a generator blow up on them a few months back which took some customers down for some time.

I am using that exact package from MediaTemple and have no issues so far.

My problem now is if we hit that 1.5TB limit, I'm not sure where to go. Hovering at 1.2tb nowadays :noes:

a few different sites but mainly two sites that take up most of the bandwidth:

1 image gallery (800gb of the bandwidth)
1 that serves about 1-5 megs of data that everyone hits. (300 gb of the bandwidth)
