Ok, I'm pretty much set on getting this car but my only dilemma is should I wait a year and let them work out the kinks? I can wait as I don't need the car right away, but I've had bad luck with first year iterations of newly released cars.

Since BMW hasn't really been in the turbo business for awhile I kind of want to wait for a bit, my question is what would you do? Pull the trigger or wait for the 08's in August of 07?

Plan to do the following within the first month and have saved enough money for the parts.

    Color Combo:
Sparkling Graphite w/ aluminum trim and the reddish interior.

Kerscher front bumper and c/f splitter
    KW Coilovers
whatever chip, exhaust, and injectors come out.
    Gunmetal BBS CH's
Yokohama AO48's or maybe bfgoodrich kdw's
    Brembo Big Break kit.
    and tint.
Later down the line a thicker head gasket to lower compression.

Later on I want to get an FMIC and all of the other bolt-ons but the following mods should carry me along for a few years. I just need to know that the turbo's are going to hold up.

I would not worry about it. You will be under the 4year 50K so what ever is wrong they will fix it.

Youz a Ballah. If you can afford it buy it, that's what the warranty is for.
