looking for video card for pci (not express)...

    basically i got a shitty mobo and i want to buy a new graphics card for my comp...my friend tells me that since my mobo is so shitty that my graphics card shouldn't even cost more then $80 bucks...my question is, since i don't want to upgrade my shitty mobo...which graphics card should i get or would ya recommend for my basically shitty pci mobo?? (looking for one with tv out, and cost less then $150 :x:...and no im not willing to upgrade my mobo or throw my shitty comp out the window :squint:)

    I checked Newegg and it looks like the most expensive PCI cards they have are under $100. They probably suck for games but you don't have many options with obsolete tech like that. What are you trying to accomplish?

    i just have to buy a new video card with "tv out" so i could connect my comp to my big screen (which is the main reason why i need a new card)


    PS. and yes i know my weak comp isn't made to be some kind of l33t game machine :wavey:

    just to clarify, you mean "composite" and not "RCA"... Although RCA is the connector type.

    Just like we don't say DSUB-15... we say VGA.

    wat is this RCA connector type thing u guys are talking about???

    and btw, i finally bought my v-card...its an "ATI radeon 9250"...good pick??

    [bottom yellow/black thing] that's the s-video to composite in case your tv doesnt have s-video.

    that video card should be fine for what you want to do

    You're nitpicking. If you say "RCA video" in a RadioShack, they'll give you a cable with a red plug, a white plug, and a yellow plug, not ask you whether you want Composite or Component.
