I have a new 30" Samsung 305t, and I'd like to watch TV on it as well, and maybe play Wii or something. I found some HDTV tuners, but they're all USB it looks like. I'm not too sure about USB carrying HDTV stuff. It can't even handle a damn 2gb flash drive half the time.

    Ideas?

better off with a scan converter and bypass the computer entirely. some monitors have tuners built-in.

Yea no tuner built in. I don't mind bypassing the computer at all - just looking to use this to replace my 24" Sony TV. What's a good scan converter for HD?

It'd be an HDTV cable box, coax cable, or Wii/Xbox/etc. Like I said, basically just looking to use the panel as a replacement for my 24" TV.

How about an Hauppauge HD-PVR? AFAIK it should work with MythTV and a Mac.
