    Just started a new job for a local company, all we do is internet sales, and we need to revamp the main site and the owner wants to add a live chat support to the site to help with ordering

    does anyone have any expierence with this and what do you guys use?

    and do not post let me google that for you links, I am already doing research, but hands on experience is better than just reading reviews and descriptions

    thanks, not seeing a price for it, do you know the cost, and what kind of support does it offer, boss wants to make sure if I am not around he can have support:rofl:

    I say that, but josh mentioned pretty cheap, so that is why I am trying to figure it out

    My boss want support with it, he just spent 4 grand on some management software, so $20 or $50 a month for a good reliable customer sales chat software with support is not going to be a big deal with him

    I used to use Kayako SupportSuite when I worked for my college, it's legit but probably expensive

    #1 LivePerson is about $100/month, per person.

    #2 Kayako is a lot cheaper but still very good

    The rest suck.

    This the one i use. You can also download LiveClient, which lets you operate the program on a PC instead of having the browser on all the time. Works very well

    and my boss does not want a free open source one, he wants something to be able to have support when he needs it when I am not around, and most open source does not have that avaliability

    it is his company and his money
