I would go with funky house. DJ/Producers such as Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Donald Glaude, Justin Long, Brett Johnson, Pat Nice.

Robbie rivera, High Caliber, Jon Pegnato, Olav Basoski, Dj Dan, Charles Feelgood....all good house producers.

DJ Cold Cut and Fast Food ... look for the East/West Mixes. Hip-hop mixed with funk and Drum and Bass.

anything on Naked Music... Miguel Migs... Yoshiesque 2 by Deep Dish is pretty Jazzy/Funky I guess... But that cd is worth its weight in gold.

LOL I was just thinking about Naked Music - I'm listening to a Miguel DJ set now :)

Some of the Hed Kandi series are really good too - I love the Beach House series.
