If you had $1800 to spend on Subs, amp for the subs, component speakers (just up front) and an amp for them, what would you choose? I'm looking for something loud and hits hard but still maintains decent sound quality. Will be putting it in the trunk of a 2002 Maxima

    All these choices :(

do the work your self lazy biatch

    id go with focal componets

    id max and arc amps

  3. Spend only on one high-powered amp, two subs, Crossover, DSP (Digital Signal Processor), Dynamat, and labour to have those built in the trunk (box enclosure takes up space), totals about $1000, plus tax. The remaining money can be used for your personal spending.

Look in to some CDT component sets. I finally heard some this week and I like them better than my Quarts. The HD series runs around $275.
