I remember seeing a guy's laptop, which was a dell inspiron series. It was a model which had an accessory battery, that was external, and plugged into the back. Between both batteries, he coudl get 8 hours of battery life. I don't know the model or specs on this, but if anyone could give me a clue, I would appreciate it. I don't see this particular feature listed on the inspirons on dell's site.

Want a good system board? Buy Asus...want a good laptop? Buy a good, known manufacturer's laptop. I prefer the HP/Compaq EVO series business class. Many of them nowdays don't have a bay for a second battery...or none that I've worked on in years.

    HP/Compaq is fairly shitty.

Asus makes the best whitebooks. IBM makes the best main-brand notebooks.

Fairly one of the most popular laptops anywhere is what you meant to say. Yeah IBM makes a great laptop. I have one lying to the left of me. I said I "prefer" one over the other. I work on them daily. I think I know what comes in more than others.

So then you would know that HP/Compaq are anything but reliable. Not to mention they perform very "meh". And durable? no.

Well, considering you think FAID0 is RAID, and that RAID1 isn't, you're a moron who I would be afraid to let you touch anyone's machine!

You liking HP/Compaq is just further evidence to your stupidity.
