looking for new desktop

    Im looking for a new desktop. funds are low here at college. All I want is a twoer with 1 gig of memory, decent processor and 128 vid card. Where would you all recomend me to search. Prce range 500-700

    either, i need 1 gid mem and 128 card for gaming. as cheap as possible.

    get an hp a1112n

    my friend just got it and we stuck a 6600gt in it and it plays battlefield 2 like a charm. cost him around 800. it has an 64b amd athlon 3300+ in it and a gig of RAM. only thing ids the onboard graphics tale from the RAM so itd be wise to buy a card

    With the MIR i think so, $600 is not bad at all for an A64 machine, 1GB PC3200, PCI-E gfx and all that included software. If someone else knows something better please post.
