I'm trying to find new music to listen to which is similar to the style of Gorillaz (i.e. the same genre, whatever genre Gorillaz is). Any suggestions?

their genre is "Alternative Rap" which I guess loosely translates too "Underground Hip-hop" which in turn translates to nothing.

Gnarls Barkley is coming up with the same producer of Gorillaz (DangerMouse) If you like some rap, check out Danger Doom - The Mouse and The Mask
you would notice alot of the same style thrown into it all.

what I love and hate about the gorillaz...they are so good and unique to me yet it takes them so long to put out cds so you have nothing to tide you over :(

    Deltron 3030.

Features Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, who rapped on the Gorillaz songs "Clint Eastwood" and "Rock The House." And produced by Dan the Automator, who also produced the first Gorillaz album. Damon Albarn even shows up on one of the songs. If you like the Gorillaz, you almost have to like that album as well. I can't recommend it enough.

    I second Deltron 3030.

Go to pandora.com and make a Gorillaz station. See what they suggest. It's what the website was designed to do, find more music that you may enjoy.
