    I need more information to help lost weight and tone body while doing it. I'm pretty much a fat fuck, I know this, I don't need anyone else to tell me this--hence my goal.

    I've slowly changed my diet, instead of just plunging right in. I needed to do this because well, I'm fucking weak willed and this has helped a lot.

    I've read the noob intro, and looked at some of the logs, but unfortunately, I need someone to really tell me in layman terms since I'm kind of dense in the head with all of this. inoes, right? ~_~


    I know that muscle building is good because it'll help the metabolism, and help with not getting the loose skin shit (which I really don't want). So I just want to lose weight in a steady way, and not super fast.

    So if anyone can help me, PM me or reply here. I can check back...

    Read the stickies...unlike other forums the stickies here are actually useful. It's a culmination of the collective knowledge on fitness and nutrition. Think of the stickies as Superman's Fortress of Solitude :cjerk:

    If you need it in layman's terms: eat less, move more.

    I've read the stickies, and have been purging myself of the way I've been eating, and starting this week, I'll be going to the gym.

    Is there a website you can point me to that will show how to do the squats and etc? I need visual aid >.>

    the link that was in the sticky (Archive) wasn't working.



    I guess I'll go into a bit more detail as to what I do'nt understand.

    It means
    Day 1: do workout A
    Day 2: do workout B
    Day 3: rest/cardio
    Day 4: do workout A
    Day 5: do workout B
    Day 6: rest/cardio

    also, you posted over in the "what are you eating" thread. 2 cups of fruit is a lot of carbs (sugar) when trying to drop weight. if its canned i most likely has some type of syrup on it, which is not good for you.

    good snack would be a can of tuna and 1/2c of rice (brown preferably). a lean protein source and a healthy carb

    Well, they're fresh cut, and not out of a can (I don't eat out fruits or veggies out of a can unless I'm super broke). How do I keep my nutritional needs without racking on the sugar then?

    Should I replace it with vitamin supplements then? I know that I should stay away from juices as well, or juice concentrate but are there any juices that I can safely have?

    I think one thing that concerns me the most about losing weight are my breasts. I don't want saggy breasts, and I'm sure no man would want that on their woman either... what's the best possible way to lose weight, and not get saggy breasts?

    Did she do a lot of exercises for the chest area? If so, do you recall what they were?


    I'm excited but nervous all at the same time for this. I know it's not going to happen overnight but I'm excited nonetheless.

    the wife did a full body circuit on machines and 45 mins on the treadmill about 4 times a week. cleaning her diet up was the easiest part, when we did that, the weight melted off.

    just keep the excitement up. just remember your going to have good days and bad days. it happens to all of us. dont get discouraged, keep your head right and you'll be fine.

    thanks for the information, it's very helpful.

    as far as snacks go, trail mixes: good or bad?

    I read the great/ok/bad stuff thread, just wondering where trail mixes go under.

    the wife used those 90 cal high protein special K bars for snacks. try snacking on plain almonds, cashews, peanuts.

    i would stay away from trailmix, thats just me, most of the time is like 99% M&Ms with a little bit of dried fruit and a nuts.

    checkout www.fitday.com and plug in your normal daily food intake. log everything, drinks, snacks, meals, everything. see what your normal calorie intake is and where the majority of it is coming from (ie fats, carbs, protein) and start making adjustments there.

    if you can work the macros of trailmix into your diet, eat away, but you might need hold off on it for a while

    I did start doing fitday.com a week ago and have adjusted my diet with that. in the trail mixes, it's raisins, dried bananas, dried papaya, dried mango, and yogurt covered raisins. It also has some dried dates.

    Reading the archive, it said to not eat so much nuts because they're packed with a lot of calories. I'll probably start doing the special K bars, because I like their cereal. :o

    nuts are packed with calories and healthy fats...you need fats to drop the weight

    yup... although high calorie, there's usually quite a bit of fiber and fat in nuts... just don't go overboard and you'll be fine

    OK, that sounds pretty good then. I'll probably start eating roasted nuts again.


    Well, just signed up for gym membership, did a walk/run and worked on my biceps!

    I r still excited. :] I'm getting really good support from a co-worker of mine who goes daily as a religious routine. He showed me some stuff today and will be working with me tomorrow again.

    I think... one of the main things i'm looking forward to in all of this is my breasts shrinking. :x:
