I can't find anywhere locally that has any IWB holsters, much less any for my gun specifically so unfortunately I can't try them on. This forces me to roll the dice & buy one online but I'm pretty clueless on holsters for the most part, this is my first concealed gun. Any recommendations for the S&W MP9c?

Do you want Kydex or Leather?

    Kydex
    Comp-Tac
    Raven Concealment
    Blade-Tech

    Leather
    Milt Sparks
    Kramer
    TT Gunleather
    UBG Holsters

I prefer Kydex, especially for a plastic gun. Drawing is a lot faster, they are overall much thinner, more versatile, reholstering is easy.

Sorry to go off-topic, but how do you like your m&pC? how does it compare to a glock 19?

The M&Pc is more comparable to the 26, it's a nice little gun but the trigger reset is really crappy.

Love mine, I lost count but I think I'm at close to 2500 rounds, gone bang every time. No problems at all what so ever.

:werd: I'm well over 1000 rounds through mine and I had one FTE within the first 100. Other than that, no problems. I shot both the G26 and XD subcompact and I liked the M&Pc the best. It felt the best in my hand, and I like the 12+1 capacity. I do agree that the trigger leaves a bit to be desired, but for what I use it for, it's great.

so, the M&Pc is comparable to the size of the XD SC and G26?

There is no middle between the standard M&P and C?

:werd: I use it as my primary CCW, I mean fuck 2500 rounds and counting and zero problems can't complain. It isn't a target pistol or match pistol. But as a CCW pistol what else could you ask for?

M&P 9c is the same size as a G26 but has the added feature of mag extensions and 3 different size backstraps that allow for a more custom fit.

When I bought my 9c it was between that and the G26. The 9c just felt so much better in my hands. The glock felt like........well a brick. The ergonomics of the M&p compacts are far superior than the Glocks. Combine that with, at the time I bought mine a $50 rebate and 2 free mags....no brainer.

Never got a glock so I can't compare. Then again I've only put 100 rounds through my MP9c so far. :dunno:

It still blows my mind that the Kydex is slimmer than an all leather but anyways I have a question on the M-TAC....is it a snug & thus quiet fit? I don't want something that has play & makes noise or makes me worry if it's seated in the holster all the way.

MTAC is the best IWB holster for the money.

That's a bold statement. Personally I think the MTac costs a lot for a piece of Kydex and a little leather. Just remember, not all holsters fit people the same. There are plenty of great other options available for under $100 dollars.

HighNoon and FIST make good leather pieces for good prices.

    MTAC

I wore it for about 9 hours straight yesterday while walking around and/or riding in a car during the Woodward Dream Cruise and not once did it ever feel uncomfortable.
